Payment and cancellation terms

PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION TERMS & CONDITIONS

All reservations made through Car 'n Motion, must be paid in advance within the time period specified below in order to be considered confirmed. Payment methods and time available for payment are set out as follows:

Α. By credit/debit card debit

Your payments are supported by the Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Maestro, Bancontact, JCB cardholder authentication services of the respective payment organizations. The cardholder authentication service is provided by the respective organisations in cooperation with third party providers. For the implementation of the cardholder authentication service, you will be redirected to the secure environment of the provider where the transfer of your card details to a third party provider cooperating with the Bank may be required. On Car 'n Motion's websites and applications, we do not request, store, or manage payment card information of any kind in any way.

Payment must be made within 30 (thirty) minutes at the latest to avoid cancellation of your booking and to ensure the availability of the selected vehicle. If your reservation is cancelled you will receive an email notification. After cancellation you will have to re-book your reservation.

Β. Deposit to a bank account

Transfer by Web Banking to the bank of the client's choice. You will be sent a link which will take you to the bank's interface to make your transaction. 

ATTENTION: Payment must be made within 3 (three) hours at the latest in order to avoid cancellation of your reservation and to ensure the availability of the selected vehicle. If your reservation is cancelled you will receive an email notification. After cancellation you will have to re-book your reservation.

If the vehicle is to be picked up in less than 6 (six) hours the deposit must be made within 1 (one) hour otherwise the reservation will be cancelled. If your reservation is cancelled you will receive an email notification. After cancellation you will have to re-book your reservation.

C. By Paypal/Digital Wallets

You can complete the transaction using Paypal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Viva Wallet (in countries where the above payment methods are supported).  A payment link will be sent to you and it will take you to the corresponding interface to complete your transaction.

Payment must be made within 30 (thirty) minutes at the latest to avoid cancellation of your booking and to ensure the availability of the selected vehicle. If your reservation is cancelled you will receive an email notification. After cancellation you will have to re-book your reservation.

ATTENTION: In all reservations made through Car ‘n Motion, paying cash or payment upon delivery of the vehicle is prohibited.

RENTAL RESERVATION CANCELLATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

In case of cancellation, the following cancellation fees apply:

• For cancellations 48 (forty-eight) hours prior to the date and time of vehicle pick-up there is no cancellation fee (zero)
• For cancellations less than 48 (Forty-eight) hours prior to the date and time of vehicle pick-up, the cancellation fee is 100% of the value of the reservation. (100%)
• In case of no show (no-show) the total rental cost is non refundable.
• In case the driver does not have with them the original valid driving license (Greek/European or international*) and ID card or passport (no photocopies) the vehicle will not be delivered and the total rental cost will not be refunded.

* (In the case of an international license, the driver is required to carry the original document.)

•  In case of returning the vehicle earlier than the expiry date of the reservation-rental, no refund will be given. 

Free Cancellation

The 48hour FREE cancellation policy shall apply until December 31, 2024. The company reserves the right to extend or to terminate the Free cancellation policy whenever it wishes and to reinstate (not retroactively) the Free Cancellation premium shown when the vehicle is booked through the website.

Cancellations must be notified within the specified deadline to Car 'n Motion at: reservation@carnmotion.com

In the event that the customer is entitled to a refund due to cancellation of the booking, they have the option to receive the money in their account or request that it be held as a credit balance for future rentals. The refund is carried out exclusively in the same way as the payment was made. The refund process takes place within 7 working days.

The company has the right to change the above conditions whenever it wishes. The change of terms is not retroactive. We recommend that you refer to the website to be informed of any changes to the terms that apply to you.
